July 11, 2005 DPS completes Mexico City installation of the Basic Order Selection System, The BOSS using Windows XP Professional operating system on a Dell server.

DIMSA (division of PMG International), Mexico’s largest independent periodical distribution and fulfillment company engaged Data Processing Services, Inc. to design, install and implement an improved "pick to light" Basic Order Selection System [BOSS] intended to reduce the order fulfillment time, improve pick ergonomics' and increase the accuracy of each order. August 24, 1999 DPS designs and implements labor saving and accuracy installing Basic Order Selection Systems with Verify Items Picked options [BOSS VIP] along with assisting John Kroger's group in establishing it presence in the Dallas marketplace expanding DPS circulation solution [NGS/6000 Periodical Category Management System].

IBM Warehouse and Logistic Practice Contractor selects DPS.

August 24, 1999 DPS designs and implements labor saving and accuracy improving BOSS PICK System [Basic Order Selection System] integrating to a 3rd party WMS solution. DPS was recognized as 4th out of over 40 vendors in the project lead by IBM.

Bill's Dollar Stores is a chain of over 500 stores in 13 southeastern states, that offers everyday deep discount prices on basic everyday items to low income families.

The company is in an accelerating growth pattern, opening 60 new stores in 1999.  Starting in the year 2000, new stores will be opened at a growth rate of 20 to 25 percent annually. Stores generally locate in neighborhoods where our customers live, be it rural areas, small towns or urban areas.

Bill's headquarters is located in Ridgeland, Mississippi.  Due to the planned store growth a new distribution facility was built in Augusta, Georgia, using the DPS BOSS Pick to Light solution in the new 400,000 square foot warehouse.  Learn more here.
