The DPS Route Management System - RouteMAN is a series of on or more hand held computers with integrated laser scanner and Irda (inferred data transmission – no cables required) strip printers utilizing application programs designed specifically for magazine and books in store service transaction processing. Utilizing the PSION “Workabout” Portable Hand Held Computer, the DPS Route Management System is the most efficient and effective way to process in-field transactions by title accurately capturing delivery and returns information.

The DPS RouteMAN can receive and store complete title, issue, and desired customer data in the portable hand held computers. The DPS RouteMAN captures the actual time and date of ALL recorded transactions, providing an extremely valuable reporting tool by which to measure productivity.
