Learn how DPS
leads the way...

Tara Nave
(The News Group, L. P.) exclaims that "all titles (books and magazines) are hitting account receivables perfectly!  Thanks to DPS this whole process has been knocked down to ten minutes!"

Mike Carter (Select Media Services) established an early competitive edge using SBT data to administer Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) using a "formulated process to maximize retail sales, while achieving annual inventory turns of 4.5 for books and 5 for magazines and producing a GMROI of 225 for books and 192 for magazines, while maintaining a minimum acceptable display for each title.

Time Warner's distribution arm, TDS (major National Distributor of periodicals) has recognized and approved the DPS solution methodology for handling of client Scan Based Trading.  After an extensive system investigation and audit by TDS, including shrink tool analysis, DPS clients receive approval for full "synchronization" of the supply chain.

Source Interlink Compaines (Iinternational Periodical Distributors - IPD and Universal Circulation Services - UCS) expands chain market share capture opportunities using Scan Based Trading from Data Processing Services.  Major retail agreements include SBT/EDI providing incentives to optimize quantities and category selection through Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes.
