DPS has been very fortunate in retaining staff members for a combined 132 man-years of experience servicing the Magazine Industry. Throughout those years, DPS has worked on many projects and has been very successful handling projects of this scope.
One of our biggest strengths is our
unique ability to acquire and manage the proper vendors when needed
in order to complete complex projects. One such example is the
$1.3 million dollar Material Handling System DPS designed and
installed in Harrisburg, Pa for Source Interlink (see
Press release here). DPS was the lead contractor on
this project defining and managing 100% of the requirements from
electrical, conveyance, shelving, and of course, all the computer
system interfacing to the scales, pick lights, scanners, conveyors,
and diverters. This system handles in excess of 25,000
boxes per week with virtually no down time in 3 years!
